•Best Italian Player: from a short list of Antonio Cassano, Antonio Di Natale and Andrea Pirlo, the winner was Antonio Di Natale
•Best Foreign Player: from a short list of Samuel Eto’o, Diego Milito and Wesley Sneijder, the winner was Diego Milito
•Best Young Player: from a short list of Mario Balotelli, Alexandre Pato and Javier Pastore, the winner was Javier Pastore
•Best Goalkeeper: from a short list of Morgan De Sanctis, Julio Cesar and Salvatore Sirigu, the winner was Julio Cesar
•Best Defender: from a short list of Giorgio Chiellini, Walter Samuel and Thiago Silva, joint winners were Walter Samuel and Giorgio Chiellini
•Best Coach: from a short list of Massimiliano Allegri, Luigi Del Neri and José Mourinho, the winner was José Mourinho. In his absence, Beppe Baresi, Daniele Bernazzani and Stefano Rapetti - members of the Portuguese coach’s backroom staff last year - collected the award on his behalf.
•Best Referee: from a short list of Emidio Morganti, Nicola Rizzoli and Paolo Tagliavento, the winner was Emidio Morganti
•Player of the Year: chosen from the winners of the Best Italian Player and Best Foreign Player categories, the winner was Diego Milito
As well as the eight main categories, the following special awards were also assigned:
•Maicon won the Best Goal of 2010 award for the opening goal in Inter’s 2-0 win over Juventus last April
•Inter was named Team of the Year. Technical director Marco Branca and sporting director Piero Ausilio picked up the award on behalf of the team
•Antonio Di Natale was named Goalscorer of the Year
•Antonio Di Natale received the Fair Play Prize
•Edinson Cavani won the Fan Award
